Old Fashioned Original Shampoo Bar – 3.5 oz

J.R.LIGGETT’s unique bar shampoo is made with 100% vegetable oil formulated to give you healthy and beautiful hair. The bar lathers quickly, cleans well, and rinses out easily, which will not strip the natural oils from your hair (there are no detergents). For this reason, most people do not even need a conditioner!

The formula for this incredible and unique bar of shampoo was discovered loosely placed in an old New England Cookbook many years ago by J.R.LIGGETT. This is the cornerstone of their fine line of bar shampoos that over the years have proven themselves over and over to a countless number of loyal users.

Directions for use:

Always wet hair and bar first, then rub the bar directly onto your hair until you get the level of lather you want. For long hair bring the rest of your hair up to the top of your head and lather all together. Scrub hair and scalp thoroughly and immediately rinse. Always rinse with warm, not hot, water.
An ACV (apple cider vinegar) wash can be used after shampooing with the bar if you feel a need for it. Mix about a tablespoon of ACV with about a cup of warm water.

After shampooing and rinsing, apply the ACV wash to your hair and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then rinse it out. The smell of vinegar will completely dissipate when your hair is dried. After showering with the ACV rinse, it is often easier to comb your hair than when using commercial leave-in conditioners!
